			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have received great praise on the new R4 pump and we are just getting started! Here is an email we recently received from Dave Lems of Lemspro Machine in Sturgis, SD:<br />
&#8220;<em>I wanted to take a minute and let you know how the R4 pump worked, we installed the pump on a ASCS 360 engine, the engine was absolutely flawless all year, the race team raced it thirty eight nights before installing a fresh engine and when we disassembled the engine that had your pump on it we were amazed, the inside of the engine looked good as new, the bearings, cam, lifters and valve springs were as good after thirty eight races as when they were new. You have my approval on this pump, you hit a home run, good job.</em></p>
<p><em>P.S. The race team won Seven features and 16 heat races and took home the Black Hills Speedway championship and set 10th fast time at Knoxville 360 Nationals out of 110 cars.</em>&#8220;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Unlike v-belts or serpentine style belts, toothed belts like HTD and Gilmer do not need to be overly tight. The teeth on the belt are doing the work instead of friction. A good rule of thumb is that you should be able to turn the belt 90º and see the teeth on the belt in the center of the belt between pulleys. Do not be alarmed if it appears that belt seems to be bouncing or flapping while the engine is running. If you over tighten these style belts they can walk off the pulley or cause premature wear to your pulleys.</p>
